The Ceramic Collection is located in the Ceramics Gallery, Aberystwyth Arts Centre. The back gallery has a long term display of early pioneer studio pottery by Bernard Leach, Shoji Hamada, Reginald Wells, Martin Brothers, Nora Braden, Katharine Pleydell-Bouverie, Frances Richards, Michael Cardew and more. Some items are also on display at the School of Art. Items are also held in store in both locations. If you would like to see an item in store please contact us well in advance to arrange a visit.
The Ceramics Gallery at Aberystwyth Arts Centre is open:
Monday – Wednesday: 10am – 5pm
Thursday – Saturday: 10am – 8pm
Sunday: 1pm – 5pm

The Ceramic Archive is based at the School of Art, Aberystwyth University. It is staffed on a part time basis but staff can be available for personal callers from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Please call in advance to arrange a visit and to ensure somebody is able to see you.
