Weeping Lion

View in collection Ovoid pot, slip cast and joined earthenware with underglazes and Sgraffito decoration. The shape  is influenced by Frances Emma Richards (1869-1931) pots. The pot has blue background and is illustrated with a green weeping lion and a green crocodile with a arrow motif and green and yellow foliage influenced by the work of the printmaker Christine Penn (1943-2014) from the School of Art collections.
