View in collection Teapot in dark grey-green salt glazed stoneware. Hand built with handle reaching from the back of the lid to the tip of spout reminiscent of an oil can. Thrown from a mixture of ball clay, stoneware and sand, the exterior is sprayed with oxides. The work is fired to 1280 degrees C, then soaked and salted for 2 hours when the temperature reaches 1250 degrees C.
