View in collection Large platter -one os six earthenware/porcelain plates from the series 'A Londoner's Progress' (2005).Press moulded with filigree decoration in relief on edge of the plate in white with blue edges, female figure in gold underwear at top of plate. Transfer design on plate of elderly male and young  female figure in a domestic interior -a pastiche of the Arnolfini Wedding (1434, Jan van Eyck).The man holds on to a walking aid with a bag of money at his feet, the women holds a wedding bouquet. The interior has a red sofa replacing the bed, and a flat screen wall mounted television replacing the mirror in the  van Eyck original. A label underneath the imagery says: 'A LONDONER'S PROGRESS, SIGNED AND DATED 2009, SUN-AE KIM 1992-2090, ROYAL COLLEGE OF ART, BEQUEATHED BY CERAMICS AND GLASS DEPT.
